It's not just for BMWs any more.*

Stopped to treat myself to a delicious bagel and coffee for breakfast on Friday. As I was walking back to my car I passed the driver of this vehicle, who apparently needed a bagel so urgently that they dispensed with commonly recognized parking practices (e.g. putting your car in a designated parking space) and decided to just abandon the car in or about the general vicinity of a few parking spaces. You can see clearly from this picture that there was a solid 5 feet in front of the car that went unused, but what isn't as immediately noticeable is that there was also approximately 3-4 feet available on the drivers' side, and that the car is at about a 20 degree angle such that it actually crosses into the next space.

If I ever had an aneurism while parking my car and it ended up like this, I wouldn't be able to make it 2 steps from the car before becoming so overcome with guilt and anxiety that I had to re-park in an appropriate manner.

*I am a self deprecating BMW driver who can park properly and knows how to use my turn signals (both the left and right)

Well, There is room for a Motorcycle in front. But with this person, I wouldn't trust them around anything. Even my mailbox.
